The hero defeats his foes and all of the plot twists are nicely tied up – perhaps a little unrealistically. I think this book was a little too young for me but it was still a good read. But when I actually read it it was interesting. I noticed the author because I've read some of her novels for young adults and adults. I love the character development that happens in this book. So, it's not really about princesses.
Like rock climbing the 2 story castle. It was really good and funny.I read it in school and I thought it was very very very very very very good! My fourth grader read it this year for a state book competition, it was placed on the list they had to get through. I think the audiobook narrator does great voice work but I ended up upping the speed just to get through the main character's repetitive complaints faster--which, again, I think the book's target audience would find each repeat increasingly funny. It is a great, fun book for young girls in 2nd to 3rd grade (maybe first if you have a really advanced reader). After graduating with an honors degree in English literature from McGill University, she moved to Toronto to work for Harlequin Enterprises. I loved this book so much.

Jonah and Abby stopped Snow from eating the poison apple. The writing, characters, and humor were just fresh and dynamic enough to make this appealing.
And this book she read to be beginning to end over nine days. The voice of the girl, Abby, is pretty bratty in the first book, but it improves as the series goes on. I will continue to listen/read as she makes them. For school she is suppose to read for 20 minutes a day.
Sooo cute and adorable funny read, again love this series!! SpEd Litd. This book is about a girl named Abby and her little brother named Jonah. by Scholastic Press. Along the way, the kids meet teh MC's of the fairytales and end up messing up the story. I also liked the new ending to the fairy tale & think it's a gre.
My children absolutely love this series, and it all started with this book, which is intelligent, creative, clever -- and very funny.

I love reading this entire series with my daughters. I also like the fact that it isn't too long or involved; ust right for middle grade reluctant readers or kids who don't want their books to take forever. Not my favorite of Abby’s adventures but still a cute story.
