But acceleration similar to a 250, also very quiet stock exhaust I got my 300 stolen, and managed to pick up a 650 for only $2000. btw if the GP bike has no fan how does it get air in for combustion? Now my preference is still the 300. It's definitely not overly sporty. I'm sure you could get used to the weight of the 650r, but I think more people have trouble living with the 300/250's power(or lack thereof). Really, just find out what you would rather live with. Why the sv650? Granted I have aftermarket clip ons, I adjusted them to be very comfortable, I still find myself doing U turns and sharp turns very slowly. I have owned both. I loved my 650 - If you have any questions please ask me - logged 17,000 miles on my Ninja 650 in a bit over a year - all completelly problem free - the bike is a tank. This time all along I've been thinking that I've been riding a handle-bar variant of the Ninja 650, but really they're clip-on handlebars (so it looks like).

Ultimately what is important to me is FUN. Comfortable position, relaxed posture, great behaviour on the road. My buddy just got an NA, and holy cow is it fun.
