I think the 209s are loud enough for the purpose but have not compared them to a 32 blank. believed there could be such a difference. Just like everything else, its another variable in the equasion of accuracy. × I've used a lot of cci209m's in Remington cases.
In Bobcat68's thread about Pursuit Pro problems it can be related to the physical size of the primer. or CCIs at that price around here, while Remingtons are my 1st choice I actually prefer Feds over anything else.
After I lost my GunX, I bought a Charter Arms 209 primer pistol to have as a backup but have not used it yet. Last winter I noticed a lot of powder residue in the trigger mechanism of my gas semi-auto when shooting mild loads (around 6500-7000 psi) of Clay Dot ignited by Win 209 primers.
I did not shoot it over the chronograph but it grouped great.

They had tons of CCI and Speer ammunition including 22LR.. Savage rifles were also at very good prices. These blank pistols are not props and can cause serious injury if used improperly. Your BD is a 3-way ignition source. Mine was a hair too short and causing some misfires. The "ML" primers are more that the "shotgun" primers around here.
