Up until two years ago, I had worked locally with schools and families, and although my work with the department of education has been fulfilling, I miss being involved with local schools. I want to be the fresh eyes and ears for the community and get questions answered by administration prior to voting. I would advocate for identifying alternative learning models, including using my expertise to help evaluate feasibility for implementation. This support and guidance come in the form of actively participating on the board and listening to the needs and concerns of the stakeholders of the district.
